Hollywood Comes to Cancun

Earlier this week a slew of Hollywood celebrities were in Cancun promoting their summer blockbusters. Among the big names were Jackie Chan and Angelina Jolie. The weather was perfect and ideal for “red carpet” screenings of their new films. Chan and Jaden Smith co-star in the remake of Karate Kid, and Angelina Jolie stars in her new action film, Salt. Apparently, Jolie was seen with a new tattoo, but it didn't get as much attention as her breathtaking white Versace dress.

Another big Hollywood story that came out of Cancun this week was the announcement of the new Spiderman. During a press event, director Marc Webb of the yet unreleased Spider Man 4 named Andrew Garfield as the actor that will play the lead role in the upcoming sequel. With incredible beaches and weather, it's no wonder why so many Hollywood celebrities were in Cancun.
