Movido TV Web Series Cancun Nights

Movido TV is a web production company with a certain market in mind. They are looking to hook the coveted bi-lingual, Latino, 18-49 demographic that represents the fastest growing population in the digital medium. Part of the strategy is to bring smaller TV based Latino production companies like Jennifer Lopez' Nueyorican Co and create a network of dramatic mini-series.

The Movido TV web series, Cancun Nights, is one such series. It involves a mafioso-type environment where family, money and romance end in betrayal, lust and murder. It is shot on location in Cancun and is set on the Mexican Riviera. Cancun Nights is slotted to star Academy Award nominated actor Eric Roberts (Julia Roberts' brother) and Fernando Carillo.

Of the new TV Web Series Cancun Nights, Movido President Bryan Lord noted: “Leveraging our extensive list of contacts in the industry, we’ve managed to pool our resources to produce quality programming using celebrity talent while never compromising production value.” He went on to say, “There aren’t too many producers shooting content for the web in locations like Cancun, but Movido certainly is.”
